COVID-19 Update

During these challenging and uncertain times, we wanted to provide clarity on Porocel’s operating status. Firstly, in addition to monitoring guidance from local, national, and global health organizations, we have a comprehensive health & safety plan to minimize risks associated with COVID-19. We also want to provide confidence that we have implemented business procedures to continue supplying our valued customers with high-quality products and services.


As of this date, all 3 of our North American operations (Little Rock, Lafayette and Medicine Hat) are fully operational, without any interruptions in product or service availability related to COVID-19. Our European operation (Luxembourg) is also operating without disruption. Our operations in Asia (Singapore and JV-operated China site) have been impacted slightly, but we continue to operate both of these facilities near its capacity to meet the business demand of our customers. Our dedicated management team is proactively executing steps to mitigate possible interruptions in operations.

Our thoughts are with all those impacted by COVID-19 and the health professionals working to care for them. We hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy, and we wish everyone well as we collectively navigate this unprecedented situation. The health and well-being of all our employees remain priority #1 for Porocel, while taking all possible measures to provide uninterrupted service to our clients.

 

 Our operating facilities in N. America, Europe and Singapore remain essentially fully operational. Our inert bed support manufacturing facility in India is being impacted due to the recent Prime Minister decree requesting a lockdown for the whole country until Sunday, May 3rd.  

 

 Our Houston Business office is temporarily closed until Harris County’s “Stay at Home” order is lifted on Thursday, April 30th, or until government officials say otherwise. However, our sales team and professional staff continue to work seamlessly as they are working remotely.
